Prep Life Nutrition ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our meal preparation services, nutrition consultation program, and related communications — including SMS notifications and proof-of-delivery photo capture.

We collect the following personal information to process and deliver your orders:

• Full name (first and last)
• Email address
• Phone number
• Delivery address and geographic coordinates (for routing)
• Dietary restrictions and preferences
• Order history and preferences
• Proof-of-delivery photos (captured at your delivery location by our driver)
• Health and body metrics, wellness goals, dietary needs, and consultation notes — collected only when you opt into our nutrition consultation program and provide digital consent
• Digital consent signature and timestamp (nutrition consultation clients only)
• Lead and inquiry data submitted through our consultation intake form at /start (name, phone, email, goals, dietary notes)
• Client portal health tracking data — check-ins, workouts, water intake, weight entries, and macro logs submitted voluntarily in the My Journey portal
• Anonymous session data — page visits, device type, and referrer source, recorded only when you accept cookie analytics (no PII until you submit a form)
• AI-derived insights — aggregated, anonymized traffic patterns analyzed by Véra, our internal AI system (no personal data is stored in the Véra knowledge base)

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• Processing and fulfilling your meal prep orders
• Sending transactional SMS notifications about your order status (preparation, delivery, and fulfillment updates)
• Managing your customer profile and dietary preferences
• Providing wellness coaching and nutrition consultation services
• Planning delivery routes to your address
• Capturing and storing proof-of-delivery photos to confirm successful fulfillment
• Improving our services and menu offerings

We send SMS messages only to individuals who have provided explicit, affirmative written consent through one of two opt-in methods described below. Message frequency varies (1–3 per order event). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is never a condition of purchase.

When you voluntarily participate in our nutrition consultation program, we collect health-related information including body metrics, wellness goals, dietary needs, and consultation notes. This data is collected only after you provide explicit digital consent, and is used solely for:

• Delivering personalized wellness coaching and meal planning recommendations
• Generating sample meal plans based on your nutrition targets
• Tracking your progress across consultations

Nutrition consultation data is never sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties. Your digital consent signature, timestamp, and IP address are stored as a record of your consent. You may request deletion of your consultation records at any time by contacting us.

When a driver completes your delivery, a photo is captured at your delivery location as proof of successful fulfillment. These photos are stored securely and used only to confirm that your order was delivered. Proof-of-delivery photos are automatically removed from our system 30 days after the delivery date. They are not shared with third parties.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your information only with service providers who assist us in operating our business (such as SMS delivery services), and only to the extent necessary to provide our services to you. These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations. Nutrition consultation data and proof-of-delivery photos are never shared with third parties.

We retain your personal information for as long as you are an active customer and for a reasonable period thereafter to fulfill legal obligations and resolve disputes. Proof-of-delivery photos are automatically deleted 30 days after delivery. If you request deletion of your data, we will remove your information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP
• Request deletion of your nutrition consultation records
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

When you accept cookies on our website, we collect first-party, anonymous page visit data including: the page path visited, your device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop), the referring URL if you arrived from another site, and an anonymous session identifier generated in your browser. This data contains no personally identifiable information and is used solely to understand how visitors engage with our website.

We use this aggregated data to analyze traffic patterns, peak usage times, and conversion rates. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking tools. All analytics data is stored in our own secure systems and is never sold, rented, or shared with advertising networks.

We use first-party browser cookies and sessionStorage to remember your preferences and track anonymous visits. We do not place any third-party cookies. You can accept or decline analytics tracking via the banner on your first visit, and you can change your preference at any time. We use OpenAI's GPT models (a third-party AI service provided by OpenAI, Inc.) to power features including nutrition analysis, recipe recommendations, ingredient substitution suggestions, customer demographic inference, and our internal business intelligence system, Véra.

When these AI features are used, relevant data may be sent to OpenAI for processing. For nutrition analysis, this includes recipe ingredient lists and quantities. For Véra's traffic intelligence, only aggregated, anonymized counts and patterns are processed — no personally identifiable information is included. OpenAI processes this data subject to its own privacy policy and does not use API-submitted data to train its models under their current enterprise terms.

Véra maintains a knowledge base of AI-generated insights derived exclusively from anonymized, aggregated data. No personal customer information is stored in or accessible through the Véra knowledge base.

In addition to order-status SMS notifications, Prep Life Nutrition may send proactive wellness SMS messages to clients who have opted into SMS communications through the client portal. These include:

• Milestone celebration messages (e.g., when you reach your 10th or 25th meal order)
• Monthly health summary notifications summarizing your progress for the prior month
• Weekly menu publication announcements
• Consultation lead follow-up messages (sent once, 24 hours after you submit an inquiry, if you opted in at submission)

All wellness SMS messages are sent only to clients who have explicitly opted in. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by visiting /sms-opt-in to update your preferences.
