Overview

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Prep Life Nutrition's meal preparation services, nutrition consultation program, SMS notification program, and client portal. By placing an order, using our services, or opting in to SMS notifications, you agree to these terms.

2.

SMS Notification Program

Prep Life Nutrition offers an SMS notification service to keep you informed about your order status. By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive transactional text messages from us. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for assistance.

Program Description

Automated SMS messages providing real-time updates on your meal prep order status as well as optional wellness and milestone notifications for enrolled nutrition clients.

Message Types

By opting in you consent to receive the following categories of messages from Prep Life Nutrition:

  • Order status updates — order received, meals being prepared, out for delivery, and delivered
  • Loyalty milestone notifications — celebrate your 5th, 10th, 25th order and other milestones
  • Monthly health summaries — a brief snapshot of your progress for clients enrolled in our nutrition coaching program
  • Consultation follow-up — one follow-up message sent 24 hours after you submit an inquiry at /start, only if you opted in at submission

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your order and program activity. You may receive up to 3 messages per order event. Wellness and milestone messages are sent no more than once per event occurrence.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Prep Life Nutrition is not responsible for any charges from your carrier related to receiving SMS messages.

Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time. Text STOP to the number from which you received messages to unsubscribe immediately. You will receive a one-time confirmation and no further notifications will be sent. To re-subscribe, text START to the same number. You may also contact our team directly to manage your SMS preferences.

Meal Preparation Services

Prep Life Nutrition provides weekly meal preparation and delivery services. By placing an order, you agree to pay the listed prices for meals selected. All orders are subject to availability and our current menu offerings.

4.

Orders and Payment

Orders are processed through our order management system. Payment is collected at the time of order placement via accepted payment methods (including Square). All prices are in US dollars and include applicable fees unless otherwise noted.

5.

Delivery

We deliver to addresses within our service area in the Savannah, Georgia region. Delivery times and availability are subject to operational schedules. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery address information.

6.

Proof-of-Delivery Photos

By accepting delivery at your address, you acknowledge that our driver will capture a photo at your delivery location as confirmation of successful fulfillment. These photos are stored securely and used solely to verify delivery. Proof-of-delivery photos are automatically deleted 30 days after the delivery date and are not shared with third parties.

Nutrition Consultation Services

Prep Life Nutrition offers optional wellness coaching and nutrition consultation services. You may initiate a consultation by submitting the free inquiry form at /start. This form captures your name, contact information, health goals, and dietary notes solely for the purpose of scheduling your initial consultation. By participating in a nutrition consultation, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Nutrition consultations are for general wellness coaching purposes only and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet, exercise routine, or health regimen.
  • We collect health-related information (body metrics, goals, and dietary needs) only after you provide explicit digital consent via our secure consent form. No consultation data is recorded without your signed consent.
  • Your digital consent signature, timestamp, and IP address are stored as a legal record of consent and may not be deleted independently of other consultation records.
  • You may request deletion of your consultation records at any time by contacting us at info@preplifenutrition.com.
  • Consultation data is used solely for coaching and meal planning purposes and is never shared with third parties.
  • AI-assisted tools may be used to generate sample meal plans and calorie targets based on your stated goals. These suggestions are not medical prescriptions and should be reviewed with a qualified professional.
8.

Client Portal

Enrolled clients may access a personal wellness portal ("My Journey") to manage their health journey alongside their meal prep service. The portal provides the following capabilities:

  • Order history — view past and upcoming meal prep orders linked to your profile
  • Nutrition consultation records — access your consultation summaries, goals, and calorie targets
  • Health tracking — log daily check-ins, water intake, workouts, weight entries, and macro progress voluntarily
  • Progress visualization — view charts and trend data based on your submitted logs over time
  • Achievement milestones — earn recognition badges as you reach health and ordering milestones
  • Initial self-assessment — new portal users are prompted to complete a brief health background questionnaire; this is voluntary and helps personalize your experience
  • AI-generated meal plan guidance — sample meal plan suggestions based on your nutrition targets, provided for general reference only

All data you log in the client portal is entirely voluntary. Access is secured by your account credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information. You may request deletion of your portal data at any time by contacting us.

9.

AI-Powered Features

Prep Life Nutrition uses artificial intelligence, including OpenAI's GPT models, to power several internal and client-facing features. By using our services, you acknowledge the following:

  • Nutrition analysis — AI estimates calories and macros for recipes based on ingredient lists. These are estimates and not certified nutritional values.
  • Sample meal planning — AI generates sample meal plan suggestions based on your stated calorie targets and dietary preferences. These are not medical dietary prescriptions.
  • Véra intelligence system — our internal AI system analyzes anonymized, aggregated data to support menu planning and business decisions. Véra does not process or store any personally identifiable information.
  • Ingredient & recipe suggestions — AI may suggest recipe adjustments or ingredient alternatives for internal use by our kitchen team.

AI-generated outputs are advisory in nature. Our team reviews AI-assisted recommendations before applying them. No automated decision-making that materially affects you occurs without human oversight.

10.

Allergen & Food Safety Notice

⚠ Important — Please Read Before Ordering

Our kitchen prepares meals that contain and handle common allergens including: tree nuts, peanuts, milk/dairy, eggs, wheat/gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee that any meal is completely free of these allergens. Cross-contact can occur during preparation in our shared kitchen environment.

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for informing Prep Life Nutrition of all known allergies and dietary restrictions before placing your first order. This information should be included in your customer profile or communicated directly to our team. We are not liable for allergic reactions resulting from allergens that were not disclosed to us, or from cross-contact in our shared kitchen environment.

Severe or Life-Threatening Allergies

If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, please contact us directly before ordering so we can assess our ability to safely accommodate your needs. We may not be able to guarantee a completely allergen-safe environment for all severe allergies, and reserve the right to decline service in cases where safety cannot be reasonably assured.

Nutrition Estimates

All nutritional information provided (calories, macros, ingredients, etc.) is estimated based on recipe formulations and standard ingredient data. Actual values may vary due to portion size variation, ingredient substitutions, and preparation methods. Nutrition information is not intended as medical dietary advice.

11.

Cancellations & Refund Policy

Because our meals are freshly prepared perishable food items, our refund and cancellation policies reflect the realities of food production. Please review these terms carefully. View our full Refund & Service Policy →

No Refunds on Received Orders

Because our meals are freshly prepared perishable food items, we do not offer monetary refunds once an order has been received and accepted at your delivery address. All sales are final upon delivery.

Meal Quality Issues — Replacement, Not Refund

If you receive a meal that is damaged, incorrect, or does not meet our quality standards, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at info@preplifenutrition.com with a description of the issue. At our discretion, we will arrange a replacement meal on your next scheduled delivery. Photo documentation of the issue may be requested.

What Qualifies for a Replacement

  • Incorrect meal delivered (wrong dish)
  • Meal arrived in a damaged or compromised container
  • Significant quality concern reported promptly within the 24-hour window

What Does Not Qualify

  • Personal taste preferences
  • Changes of mind after delivery
  • Issues reported more than 24 hours after delivery
  • Meals that have been partially or fully consumed

Repeated Service Issues & Client Relationship

Clients who repeatedly request meal replacements — regardless of stated reason — may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Consistent service complaints may result in a formal review of the client relationship and, in rare circumstances, may lead to termination of service. We reserve the right to discontinue service to any client at our discretion with reasonable notice.

Order Cancellations

Orders must be cancelled before Thursday 6:00 PM local time for the upcoming week's delivery. Orders cancelled after this cutoff cannot be refunded or credited as meal preparation will have already begun. If you need to cancel your upcoming order, contact us immediately at info@preplifenutrition.com.

Missed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt fails due to an incorrect address provided by the client, or if no one is available and no safe drop location was specified, the order is considered fulfilled. Replacement meals will not be issued for missed deliveries resulting from client error.

12.

Limitation of Liability

Prep Life Nutrition is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, SMS notification program, or nutrition consultation program. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order or service in question.

13.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
