Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and understand how you use the site. Prep Life Nutrition uses only first-party cookies and browser storage — we do not use third-party tracking services like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or any advertising networks.

When you accept analytics, we record page visits and button clicks, device type, referrer source, an opaque session identifier stored in your browser session (cleared when you close the tab), and event timestamps.

Activity is initially anonymous. After verified portal sign-in, consented activity from that session may be linked to your customer profile. Submitting an unverified public form does not by itself identify an existing customer account. Declining analytics does not prevent ordering or signing in.

We use this first-party analytics data to understand which pages are most visited, what times of day our site is busiest, where visitors come from, and how many visitors move through our conversion funnel (homepage → menu → consultation inquiry). This helps us improve our website content, timing of promotions, and customer experience.

Traffic intelligence uses aggregated counts and patterns to help us improve menus and communications. Other AI-assisted features may process relevant personal or dietary context, as described in our Privacy Policy; not all AI use is anonymous.

We use the following browser storage mechanisms:

• localStorage key pl_cookie_consent — stores your consent choice ("accepted" or "declined"). Persists across browser sessions until you clear it.
• sessionStorage key pl_session_id — a random anonymous identifier used to group your page views in a single visit. Cleared automatically when you close your browser tab.
• sessionStorage key pl_sa_dismissed_v1 — tracks whether you dismissed the first-login health self-assessment (client portal only).
• Essential session cookies — maintain verified sign-in and secure service sessions independently of optional analytics.
• Optional device notifications — supported devices or browsers may store registration and permission information when you enable notifications. Device notification permission is separate from SMS consent and your analytics choice; you can disable it through available app settings or device or browser permissions.
• Ordering and presentation storage — may remember a cart, checkout selections, the homepage introduction, or temporarily cached portal information. These are separate from the analytics preference and may be cleared through your browser settings.

You can accept or decline analytics tracking using the banner on your first visit. If you decline, our optional analytics page-visit and click events are not recorded. Essential service sessions remain available. Your choice is stored in your browser and the banner will not reappear.

You can also clear your preference at any time using the button below, which will cause the consent banner to reappear on your next visit. Additionally, clearing your browser's localStorage or using a private/incognito browser window will reset your consent status.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Mixpanel, or Hotjar for website analytics, and do not sell this activity to advertising networks. Payment services and external destinations such as Make Wellness and Instagram have their own storage and privacy practices; this preference controls Prep Life analytics, not a separate site's cookies.
